Newgate staff and instructors will talk with you about the two certification programs in auto body and auto mechanics training. You’ll tour the facilities and see students working on a variety of projects. And you’ll have a chance to meet with an instructor to learn about the school and ask questions.
- A high school diploma is not necessary.
- No tuition or fees are charged.
- You must be between the ages of 19-35, with a lower level of income and a serious interest in an automotive career.
- You'll learn by working directly on cars in our hands-on automotive programs.
Newgate training is individualized and practical. If you learn best by doing, this school may be for you! You'll proceed at your own pace to master the skills needed to qualify for an auto body technician or auto mechanic certification. The length of training averages 12 to 18 months. School hours are 8:00 a.m. to 2:45 p.m., Monday through Friday.
